[Samarkand] Suzani Embroidery Experience
Suzani embroidery is a traditional craft that has been passed down in Uzbekistan for generations. When a girl is born, the women of the family begin embroidering, teaching the art as she grows, ultimately creating large embroidered textiles. The Suzani, brought as part of a dowry, is handed down through generations in the family.
Even today, many women in Uzbekistan continue the tradition of hand-embroidering Suzanis. Would you like to experience embroidery in Samarkand?
