In response to this, we offer you the opportunity to experience a cooking session in a traditional Samarkand house.

Uzbekistan inherently possesses a culture of hospitality, where relatives and friends come together to lay out a feast on the table. We hope to provide you with a chance to engage with this traditional aspect of Uzbek culture during your culinary experience.

Tour Details

◇Activities :

  • Learn to prepare Uzbekistan’s dishes such as Palov (Pilaf), Dimlama, Pichak (spinach-filled bread), or Samosa with locals.
  • Experience making dough and baking bread in a Tandir oven.
  • Provided recipes for your culinary adventure.
  • Optionally, dress in traditional costumes for a memorable photo session.
  • On days with good weather and when the bazaar is open, we will visit bazaar and have a real shopping experience for fruits.

◆Start Time: 3:30 pm (Morning sessions are also available depending on the number of participants)

◆Location: Ikat National House (Located diagonally from Bibi khanum Mosque, behind Ikat Boutiques Cafe)

◆Minimum Participants : 1 person

◆You may be accompanied by other customers or customers from other countries.

Price(Per Person)

  • For a single participant : 30 USD
  • For two or more participants (per person, when in a group) : 20 USD

Included in the Tour:

  • Cooking class fee
  • Meal cost for one serving (including salad, sweets, and tea)
  • Photo shoot in traditional costumes

Not Included in the Tour:

  • Transportation expenses from locations other than Samarkand
  • Additional beverage costs during meals
  • Anything not specified in the schedule

  • This tour operates with Samarkand as the departure and arrival point.
  • Except for those who opt for a charter tour, there is a chance of sharing the tour with other participants.
